Native American Turquoise Sterling Silver Buckle Ranger Set Heavy Stamps + Belt
Southwestern Native American Indian turquoise Sterling silver buckle set / ranger set with heavy stamps and tan leather belt size 36, unmarked but most likely Navajo. This set showcases a buckle, a tip, and a keeper, stamped with Native American motifs and adorned with turquoise stones. The 5 stones range in color from light blue to light green, and are set in smooth bezels; 3 on the buckle and 1 on the tip and keeper. The Sterling silver buckle measures 2 3/16" in width (across), by 1 15/16" in height. The keeper is 1/2" wide by 7/8" tall by 3/8 in depth. The tip is 1 1/4" in width, by 11/16" in height, by 1/8 in depth.
The strap measures 41 1/2 from end to end, has 5 holes and no room for additional ones. The back of the tan strap is marked "36" and "TEXAS RANGER by Tex Tan", hand tooled in Texas. This outstanding belt weighs approximately 152 grams.
Note: As you can see from pics 1 and 3, the keeper's stone has a cross shaped cracked, but because of its high bezel, it remains secure in it. Thank you for supporting authentic Native American art.
